Specifications of farm fence

1.Farm fence consist of hot dipped galvanized wire, the wire thickness normally is 2mm, 2.2mm, 2.3mm, 2.5mm, 2.8mm. Thicker wire is also available. The common tensile strength is around 500N/mm, High tensile strength wire such as 1300N/mm, 1500N/mm etc is also ok.

 

2.Mesh size. The common mesh opening between vertical wire is 150mm or 300mm. Between horizontal wire the mesh opening is gradually change, it gets bigger from bottom to the top. For example, for a 0.8m high farm fence, the distance between horizontal wire from bottom to the top is 89+89+102+114+127+140+152mm. In this way, it can provide little animals get out and save your cost.

3.Fence height and length. About the height, it’s normally 0.8m, 0.9m, 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2m etc, the biggest height is 2.5m. For length, it’s 50m per roll or 100m. Both is ok.

 

4.If you want to prompt the security, barbed wire is available. You can put 2 or 3 rows of barbed wire above farm fence.
