Chain link fence is also called diamond wire mesh,it mainly used in sports field, basket field, park, garden, green field, parking field, architecture, waterways, residence safeguard, etc.Chain link fence is combined with blew elements.
1. Chain Link Fabric
Description: Woven wire usually made from galvanized or PVC coated galvanized steel wire. The wires run vertically and are bent into a zig-zag pattern so that each "zig" hooks with the wire immediately on one side and each "zag" with the wire immediately on the other. This forms characteristic diamond pattern seen in this type of fence.
2. Line Wire
Line Wire is used to secure fence fabric.
3. Tie Wire
To secure fence fabric to line wire.
4. Stirrup Wire
5. Stretcher Bar
Description: Typically made out of 25x5mm thick MS flat bars weaved through end mesh and secured after stretching the fabric at strainer posts.
6. Intermediate/Line Post
Description: Mild steel tubes, Galvanized or powder coated, placed usually about Three(3) meters from each other to support the fence, in variety of diameters (usually around 42mm to 60mm) and wall thickness.
7. Straining Post
Description: Usually used either at ends of a chain link fence, or where the fence bends or at suitable distances (usually around 30 meters) when the fence is running in straight line for long distances.
8. Corner Post
Description: Usually used either at ends of a chain link fence, or where the fence bends or at suitable distances (usually around 30 meters) when the fence is running in straight line for long distances.
9. End Post
Description: Usually used either at ends of a chain link fence, or where the fence bends or at suitable distances (usually around 30 meters) when the fence is running in straight line for long distances.
10. Horizontal Support
Description: Mild steel tube, galvanized or powder coated, fixed horizontally between Straining post and Intermediate post. The End/Corner/Straining posts are under stress from the stretch of chain link fence fabric. The horizontal support or brace helps spread the stress out over both the terminal post and the next intermediate post in line.
11. Truss Rod
Description: Installed at bottom of a terminal post (end/straining or corner post) to the two-third height of the adjacent intermediate post, pulls the horizontal support/brace towards the terminal post, in the process counteracts the pull from the stretch on the chain link fabric. It is threaded at one end. Commonly used diameters are around 10mm. Length depends upon the distance between the straining post and the intermediate post.
12. Top Rail
Horizontal member of the framework running from terminal post to terminal post on top of the line posts.
13.Barbed Wire
